Law firm Lester Aldridge elects new chair
Law firm Lester Aldridge is pleased to announce real estate partner Suki Samra has been elected as the new chair of the firm.
Samra joined Lester Aldridge in 1999 as a trainee solicitor on the same day as managing partner Matthew Barrow. He qualified as a solicitor in June 2001, became an associate in 2005 and was promoted to partner in 2007. Samra currently heads up the real estate Bournemouth team which incorporates the lender services team. Samra takes over from partner Roger Woolley who has been chair of Lester Aldridge for the past 10 years.
Samra said: "I would like to thank Roger for his involvement in developing the firm’s business strategy, and representing the interests of both our clients and colleagues. Having spent my whole career at Lester Aldridge, it is a great privilege to now be appointed as chair of LA and I look forward to continuing Roger’s work and seeing the firm go from strength to strength."
Managing partner Barrow commented: "I am delighted to congratulate Suki on his new role. I have had the pleasure of working with Suki throughout my career and know he will be an invaluable addition to our executive board."
