Hicks Baker makes two senior appointments
Reading real estate consultant Hicks Baker has expanded its offering for both core commercial markets and life sciences with two new hirings.
Dominic Faires joins the firm as Director of Business Space, dealing in office and industrial property. He brings over 20 years’ experience working with investor and developer landlords and occupiers across London and the South East.
Hicks Baker has also welcomed back Richard Duncan, following twelve intervening years spent with a competitor firm and jointly running his own business. His new role as Associate Director of Agency places him in the retail, restaurant and leisure sectors, for which the firm has overseen a steady stream of lettings and lease renewals even as consumer spending has fallen.
Giles Blagden, Managing Director at Hicks Baker, said: “Despite some of the obvious challenges ahead, we have a strong base from which to grow and we therefore look forward to taking advantage of the opportunities which will arise. We’re thrilled to have Dominic and Richard on board to continue to support the business and look forward to seeing what the rest of 2023 will bring.”
