This is the fifth annual SGS Employer Conference, supporting employers across the West of England to engage in apprenticeships.
Conference Overview
Delivering Standards - Is your organisation ready for the switch-off of apprenticeship frameworks by 2020?
The conference is supported by all the West of England colleges, providing employers with a unique opportunity to understand the apprenticeship provision offered across the region and to hear the latest developments on funding and employer incentive payments.
Focussing on professional and higher level apprenticeships, and delivered by our teaching team, the workshops will provide an insight into how these programmes can support the CPD for both existing employees and new entrants.
We will also cover the wrap-around support from providers, including recruitment, learning support and funding advice.
As always, the conference will address the hottest topics within apprenticeships. The event will provide clarity on the 20% off the job requirements. Funding updates include an opportunity for levy-transfer and a new funding system for non-levy paying employers.
With around 200 delegates attending, the conference provides a great networking opportunity to meet like-minded employers also engaging in apprenticeships.
