The latest round of promotions rewards the commitment of all members of staff to finding effective legal solutions for their clients and supporting the continued success of Blake Morgan, particularly throughout the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Property Services Group is celebrating the promotion of nine lawyers.  Sophie Shaladi and Thomas Djan-Krofa have both been promoted to legal director, with Peter Lewis promoted to senior associate. Emily Poynton and Sean James will be making the step up to associate, and Jordan McAndrew has been promoted to senior solicitor. The team has also recognised Milda Venckute, Katie Edwards and Shinto Paulose for their contribution, as they become senior paralegals.

The commercial and charities team is celebrating a pair of promotions, with Rob Jefferies and Tomos Lewis supporting the team in their new roles as senior associates.

Following a successful 12 months, the commercial recoveries and travel team is rewarding nine colleagues with well-earned promotions. Blake Morgan’s construction team will be looking to build on the foundations of a strong start to 2021, and has promoted Simon Lewis to associate and Gemma Hill to senior solicitor.

In the corporate team, Tom Vosper will be starting a new role as associate.

There has also been one promotion within the firm’s employment, pensions, benefits, and immigration team, with Melodie Thompson making the jump to senior solicitor.

The private client team has made three promotions, with Catherine Morgan now taking on new responsibilities as a legal director within the team, and Darren Price and Stephen Evans being made senior associate and associate respectively.

Finally, Gemma Casey, part of the firm’s regulatory team, celebrates a promotion to senior solicitor.

There were also promotions for five members of support staff at Blake Morgan. Three members of the business development team are celebrating new roles, with Vicky Hanks now head of marketing, Stephanie Richardson taking on the role of campaign manager, and Olivia Hamblin making the jump to senior internal communications executive.  The finance and risk teams also promoted a member of staff apiece, with Kiran Hayer and Sophie Newcombe promoted to revenue controller and associate.
