He also previously worked at national planning consultancy firm Indigo Planning, and with his own accountancy firm, was responsible for the financial and legal aspects of the sale in 2019 of Indigo to WSP.

Johnson was responsible for developing a comprehensive financial model to aid B P Collins' five-year business strategy.

Simon Deans, senior partner at B P Collins, said: "Daniel’s appointment is crucial for a number of reasons. It will help to ensure our operations’ capabilities keep pace with the growth of the firm, and meet increased and ever changing client requirements in the future.

"It will ensure that adequate support is given to the practice groups to help them achieve their goals and help us to maintain our culture of providing an excellent service to clients."

Johnson added: "I am passionate about nurturing the talent we have in the firm and developing our people’s skill sets as part of our culture of continuous process improvement.

"B P Collins is in a strong position with state-of-the-art technology and robust infrastructure already in place, and I look forward to building on this, by implementing improvements where needed, in line with our business strategy."

B P Collins is a cross practice firm and has offices in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the City.

The firm is recognised as a regional heavyweight by independent legal directories Chambers UK and The Legal 500, with many of its lawyers ranked highly in their specialist fields.
