Abingdon's RM plc appoints new CFO

Abingdon-based RM plc, suppliers of technology and resources to the education sector, has appointed Simon Goodwin as its chief financial officer.

Simon joins from MTI Technology where he was also CFO. In this previous role Simon was responsible for MTI's finance and administrative functions in all operations spanning the UK, France, and Germany.

Prior to MTI Simon held senior financial roles in Dutch ICT business Getronics and digital services and software developer Sopra Steria.

He will join the board and as CFO of RM on August 29 this year, replacing interim CFO Emmanuel Walter.

CEO of RM Mark Cook said: “I am delighted to have Simon join RM. I have had the pleasure of working with Simon previously including most latterly at Getronics and I am confident that his depth of knowledge and experience will play a critical role as we strengthen the Group’s finances and unlock value for stakeholders.
