Aidan, from Weymouth, chooses to work one evening a week at McDonald’s because it helps with his people skills and business management.
He said: “This is an opportunity to work in a different sector for a company that is growing rapidly.
“It presents a new challenge and I am looking forward to learning about cyber-security.
“I will be bringing those skills I learned in the nuclear and automobile industries in terms of compliance; it is hugely important to ensure things are done correctly.
“C3IA Solutions does a great deal with its corporate social responsibility, and supports and sponsors many individuals and groups – especially military ones.

“This is an area that I will be helping with and it’s great to work for a company that does so much for others.
“I will still be doing my crew training for McDonald’s where I’ve worked since college because it really helps me with people and management skills.”
Jim Hawkins from the company said: “Aidan brings skills that so far have been done by a number of people.
“It made sense to find someone expert in these areas to oversee the whole of the company.
“Aidan’s career since he left college told us a lot about him and we’re pleased to have secured his services.
“That he still works at McDonald’s purely for his own development is a sign of his deep commitment to his work.”
