Beverley Sunderland, the firm's managing director, said: "We know James will be a great addition - it was important for us to get the right personality to fit into our long-established team and alongside our wonderful trainee, Jade Dunsden, who we’re sponsoring through her qualification as a solicitor."

Wallwork added: "To have the opportunity to work alongside such an experienced and well-respected team and their clients was worth moving home for!

"Employment law is an expertise that moves so quickly with new cases being decided by the day. Crossland has a fantastic client base and deals with some of the most interesting and challenging cases."

Based at Milton Park, the nationally recognised law firm already offers 100 years of experience across its five solicitors and barristers.

It is rated as one of the best law firms in the South-East with all of its top lawyers individually recognised in the 2023 Legal 500 guide.

Its clients range from small to medium sized businesses as well as FTSE 100 clients across almost every sector, including charities and schools.
