Oxwash pauses direct-to-consumer service to focus on commercial operations
Oxford-based sustainable laundry and wet cleaning company Oxwash has announced an indefinite pause on its direct-to-consumer service.
The company has made the move in order to focus operations and technology on commercial laundry services, where it has observed a greater environmental impact compared to domestic customers. With commercial clients, the company says carbon emissions, water consumption and energy usage can be more than six times higher.
With the impending launch of its new large-scale facility, ‘Big Blue’, Oxwash, is proud to support healthcare, hospitality, fashion, leisure, and more industries by continuing to build and optimise a service that fits with their requirements.
While the company is incredibly grateful for its individual customers, the high demand for services from commercial industries has prompted the decision to pause direct-to-consumer services.
