Popular Cotswold Lakes pub and Indian restaurant to reopen following fire
The Crown Inn, Cerney Wick and its restaurant Asha are to reopen on Tuesday, June 6 following a devastating electrical fire which destroyed the kitchen in March.
The popular East-meets-West restaurant and takeaway had been operating from the historic Cotswold lake pub since 18 February.

Foyez Rahman and his uncle, head chef Khaled had got villagers and lake home dwellers used to their take on Indian classics with a modern twist, when the fire meant the pub had to close.

“The closure means we have had a chance to improve the kitchen and our offering,” Foyez said. “Asha and The Crown is coming back bigger and better, that I can promise,” he added.
“We have some great plans for the summer which include some events. It is great to be at a venue that has such a great outdoor space,” Foyez added.
