Thames Valley: Wealth protection lawyer joins Boyes Turner as partner
Boyes Turner’s investment in building the Thames Valley’s leading wealth protection team continues with Paul Lowery joining as a partner.
Lowery arrives from BP Collins where he led the 11-strong wills, trusts and probate practice – described by The Legal 500 as “the best in the region” while he was there. Specialising in wills, estate planning and the use of gifts and trusts to minimise inheritance tax, The Legal 500 ranks him as one of the South East’s experts/leading individuals in private client work and says that “his experience inspires confidence”.
COE Andrew Chalkley commented: “Paul’s arrival is a major coup for the firm. He has been one the leading private client lawyers in the South East for some time. He brings with him longstanding contacts with some very innovative financial advisers and an outstanding reputation for helping clients that include highly-successful business owners and executives as well as entrepreneurs to plan their estates in the most efficient way possible and minimise inheritance tax.”
Lowery commented: “I am really pleased to have joined Boyes Turner. Partner Caroline Wallis has done a great job in building the firm’s reputation for wealth protection work. I look forward to working with her and the team and helping the firm’s clients to manage their financial affairs and other assets as tax efficiently as possible.”
