Since leading law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys opened its doors in the Thames Valley in 2012, the office has gone from strength to strength. In the past 12 months alone it has grown fourfold in both people and space, and now accommodates 10 permanent staff members.
The most recent of these are the newly-welcomed Adrian Wilmott, appointed as a senior associate in the insolvency and corporate recovery team, and Laura Upshall, appointed as residential conveyancer in the property team.
Wilmott advises a wide range of stakeholders across the south, including insolvency practitioners, individuals, bankrupts, shareholders, directors, asset-based lenders and banks on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious insolvency. He also advises on corporate restructuring and turnaround on a variety of matters.
Upshall has a wide range of legal experience in private client work which spans over 15 years, including experience in residential conveyancing, matrimonial, wills and probate, and estate matters, as well as arranging lasting power of attorney documents.
Derek Jones, partner and head of Harrison Clark Rickerbys' Thames Valley office, said: “Our new starters highlight the increased demand for our legal services within and around the Thames Valley. It is a testament to the quality of the team here and we are looking forward to further growth in the New Year."
