Christmas comes but once a year but Devant, Reading-based contract and negotiation specialists, has other reasons to be cheerful this month - three in fact.

Tiffany Kemp, managing director, has been elected as a fellow of the Professional Speaking Association and chair of the Thames Valley group. Kemp has been a member since 2012 and is called to speak professionally at events and conferences around the world.

Also a cause for celebration is the appointment of Marion Blackmore who has recently joined Devant as principal consultant, bringing with her extensive commercial contract experience having worked at many corporates including Hewlett-Packard and Capita.

In a third coup, Devant has become one of the first training providers in the UK to be accredited to deliver the IACCM Fundamentals of Contract & Commercial Management programme, accredited by APMG International. This face-to-face course is designed specifically for the business professional, enabling those in sales, procurement, delivery and management roles to understand and effectively participate in the contracting process.

Kemp commented: “It’s a brilliant end to 2014 for Devant. Being nominated a fellow of the Professional Speaking Association was a huge honour and then for Devant to be accredited by APMG means we can start to deliver the Fundamentals of Contract  & Commercial Management programme to companies everywhere.”
