William Grant & Sons has announced the full acquisition of premium gin producer Silent Pool Distillers.
Founded in 2014 by Ian McCulloch and James Shelbourne, Guildford-based Silent Pool Distillers has grown to become the producer of one of the best-selling ultra-premium gins in the UK.
Family-owned William Grant & Sons, headquarted near Glasgow, is one of the world's largest whisky producers and counts Glenfiddich amongst its brands while also owning Hendrick's Gin.
Managing Director, Silent Pool Distillers said, “Over the past nine years we have built a distillery that creates a unique product that represents the stunning Surrey Hills location where it is made. There’s a line on the bottle of Silent Pool Gin that reads ‘Intricately Realised’– it is a gin which has been realised at every stage with precision, knowledge and exceptional care."
