Tenon Group, the leading national adviser dedicated to entrepreneurs, has announced its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2006.
Highlights include:
· Focus on entrepreneurial marketplace delivers excellent results
· Turnover on continuing operations - up by 42% at £74m
· Operating profit* - up by 92% at £5.6m
· Profit before tax* - up by 171% at £5.1m
· Adjusted basic earnings per share* - up 221% to 2.28p
· Cash inflow from operating activities - up 209% to £13.8m
· Net debt - down 79% in six months to £2.5m
"The past six months have been extremely successful for Tenon South with continued strong growth that mirrors the whole group's performance", said Mark Lucas, managing director of the Southern region.
"Tenon now acts for a large number of leading regional businesses and we have seen some very significant wins in recent months, demonstrating our continued strength in the market. The recent opening of our new Portsmouth office shows our growth and commitment to the market in the South, and the continued expansion of our service offering has firmly established our position as a leading adviser to entrepreneurs.
