Thames Valley and south coast accountants and business advisers James Cowper has strengthened its corporate finance team with the appointment of Caleb Lewington.
With over eight years' experience in the corporate finance market, Lewington joined from Serco's commercial finance team where he worked across high-profile bids, M&A projects and developing commercial propositions across a range of sectors including defense, transport, healthcare and home affairs business units. Prior to this, he was manager at Grant Thornton in the corporate finance team in Southampton.
Commenting on the appointment, partner and head of corporate finance Nick Rogers, said: “We are delighted to welcome Caleb to James Cowper and the corporate finance team. His corporate finance and wider commercial experience will add valuable expertise to both our clients and transactions. The appointment, driven by our exceptional deal completion rate over the past 18 months or so, takes the team to seven.”

James Cowper’s corporate finance team has completed nine deals with a combined value of £114.3m in the first eight months of 2014.
