IBB private client group is delighted to announce the creation of a new education law team, headed by Salima Mawji.

Mawji joins the team as a consultant and brings with her a wealth of experience in education law. The team will provide advice on a wide range of grievances focusing entirely on the individual’s needs. Mawji has more than 20 years’ experience in this area of law and is well-known and respected in her field. Previously, she set up and ran a successful practice as a boutique and niche education law firm that ultimately was named in Band 1 of Chambers & Partners in 2017/2018 as one of the best education law practices in England and Wales. Mawji has also been named a leader in the field in Chambers & Partners and the The Legal 500.

Amanda Melton head of the private client group said: “We welcome Salima to the private client group at IBB. Salima will bring a new area of expertise to the firm to meet the ever-increasing needs of our private clients. The aim of the group is to ensure we are able to offer the whole range of services an individual may require during their lifetime; however diverse those needs might be.”

This is the first step in IBB’s plan to increase the breadth and scope of the services they offer to individuals; continuing the firm’s vision to focus on what their clients want.”
