LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle IM) has secured its first letting at The Switch in Slough, after Certas Energy signed up to space on the ground floor of the office building.

The building is undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme which is scheduled for the end of June 2016. This will result in Grade A office space ranging from 2,874 sq ft up to 62,521 sq ft, arranged over ground and nine upper floors.

The Switch is located on the Grove in Slough close to Slough station and the town centre, providing occupiers with fast transport routes to London as well as amenities for employees. It will take 2,874 sq ft in the development.

James Smith, national director at LaSalle IM, said: “This deal, prior to the completion of the refurbishment, demonstrates the quality of office space that will be delivered at The Switch.

"Securing such an established business such as Certas Energy shows the excellent opportunity for occupiers to locate in a key town centre building and be among one of the most thriving business communities in the UK.

"Slough is a key growth area with excellent transport connectivity which will be further enhanced by Crossrail in 2019. We hope more occupiers continue to make The Switch.”

LaSalle was advised by Altus Group and JLL.
