Shaw Gibbs announces acquisition of Surrey-based Herbert Parnell

Oxford accounting firm Shaw Gibbs has acquired Herbert Parnell in a move to cement its reach in Surrey.

The addition of the Herbert Parnell office to the Shaw Gibbs Group will result in a 225 person-strong practice based over five offices located in Oxford, Basingstoke, Farnham, London and Woking.

Herbert Parnell, which trades under the name of HCPA Limited, is a three partner accountancy practice.

With a particular specialism in the dentistry sector, Herbert Parnell has over 100 years in the industry and a bank of clients who have been with the firm for decades.

The merger with Herbert Parnell is expected to enhance Shaw Gibbs' ability to cater to the unique needs of clients across the Surrey area, whilst also expanding their expertise in the healthcare sector.
