Moving up 11 places in just one year, Thames Valley heavyweight Boyes Turner is the 145th largest law firm in the UK according to The Lawyer's annual report which ranks the UK's top law firm's by turnover.
The report, which confirms Boyes Turner's position as the largest and most successful Thames Valley law firm, also singles it out as one of 10 rising firms whose "stand out 2007/08" puts them "hot on the heels of the Top 100".
Cited earlier this year as "one to watch" in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies survey and ranked in the Managing Partners' Forum 100 Best Professional Firms to Work for in the UK - it is no surprise that the firm has seen remarkable success on the recruitment front with 16 new lawyers brought on board so far this year and the hire of property partner Derek Ching, formerly head of commercial property at Clarkslegal.
Chief executive Andrew Chalkley said: "It's an exciting time for us. The last five years have seen Boyes Turner arrive as a leading full service Thames Valley law firm. This year we have embarked on the next phase of development with the launch of a new three year strategy to develop the region's premier law firm."
