Reading: Spectrum Corporate Finance expands debt advisory business

Simon Sherliker has joined the team at Spectrum Corporate Finance as an associate director to further develop the company’s debt advisory business.

It has been another strong year for Spectrum having completed 22 deals at an aggregate value of £450 million in the past 12 months.

Sherliker is an experienced corporate and structured finance banker having spent the past 13 years working in corporate banking with HSBC, RBS and Barclays. Over this time he has gained a wealth of experience and deep understanding of corporate finance with most of his time spent working in leverage finance completing a range of transactions in the UK M&A market place.

His experience ranges from restructuring and portfolio management to the provision of acquisition finance both on a bilateral basis and through participation in multibank clubs and syndications. Transactions have ranged in value from £5m to £600m and have included domestic and international counterparties.

Sherliker is proficient in the structuring, negotiation and completion of all aspects of leverage transactions and the implementation of corporate banking facilities, bringing with him financial analysis and credit risk management skills.
