Reading: Boyes Turner shortlisted for Regional Law Firm
Having been named Regional Law Firm of the Year 2010 at the British Legal Awards run by Legal Week last December, Boyes Turner has been shortlisted for the Regional Law Firm of the Year 2011 award at the forthcoming The Lawyer Awards.
Seen by many as the Oscars of the legal industry, the ceremony will take place on June 21 at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The firm has been shortlisted in this category for three years in a row and narrowly missed out on the winner’s trophy last year, taking second place.
This year’s shortlist also includes Brodies, Burges Salmon, Harper Macleod, Higgs & Sons, Shakespeare Putsman and Stevens & Bolton.
Boyes Turner’s strategy of becoming a regional market leader in a well-balanced range of disciplines has allowed it to grow at a sustainable rate throughout the recession having recorded above-trend annual fee income growth.
Commenting on the announcement Boyes Turner CEO Andrew Chalkley said: “To be short listed in such a competitive national category is a great achievement. We believe that this type of objective and independent review is particularly important as it helps organisations and professionals to choose and recommend the right law firms. We are regularly told that by talking about our strategy as well as operational and financial performance we set ourselves apart from the competition. For us, it is an essential part of building solid working relationships and becoming a trusted adviser and law firm of choice.
"We understand that clients and professionals who use and recommend us have a vested interest in our success and we treat them as valued stakeholders in our business.”
