Reading: Absolute launches with networking event
The Thames Valley and South West office of the independent business financier formerly known as Cattles Invoice Finance celebrated its relaunch as Absolute Invoice Finance, with an evening networking event in Reading.
A range of guests from the local business community attended the launch event, which was held at the Madejski Art Gallery at the Museum of Reading. The evening gave Absolute’s introducers and other invited guests the opportunity to eat, drink and network, against the backdrop of the invoice financier’s new brand identity.
The business was formally relaunched as Absolute following its acquisition by private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners. The company now has a new £100 million fund dedicated to supporting the growth of established, early stage and start-up businesses.
Absolute is offering companies in the Thames Valley and South West region the opportunity to access vital funding lines of between £25,000 and £2.5m, as it seeks to ease the pressures placed on entrepreneurial firms since the onset of the recession.
Adrian Chambers, Thames Valley and South West managing director at Absolute, said: “It was a fantastic evening and we would like to thank everyone that made it such a great success. The Thames Valley and South West region has a thriving business community with strong entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re committed to supporting that spirit through tailored funding solutions for small and medium sized businesses.”
Absolute’s annual client turnover is in excess of £1 billion, and funding solutions offered include invoice finance and invoice discounting, as well as support services, such as payroll.
