Verisona Law’s corporate and commercial team has congratulated colleague Grant Usher after he was named Junior Lawyer of the Year by the Hampshire Law Society.
Associate solicitor Grant Usher has been recognised for an exceptionally successful start to his legal career at Verisona Law. Beating entrants from firms across the region, judges of the annual Hampshire Law Society Legal Awards declared him Junior Lawyer of the Year at the association’s annual dinner in the Hilton Hotel at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
Awarded by the judges for a talent, diligence and maturity that belie a young man at the start of his career, Usher was commended for a professionalism, commitment to client care and strategic approach to business development that has received praise from clients, contacts and colleagues alike.
His achievements have included running a ’data room’ for the sale of Portsmouth Football Club, saving a coastal boatyard from insolvency, the management buyout of one of the UK’s largest new boat dealerships and providing guidance to clients on imminent GDPR legislation.
