Newbury-based business-to-business communications provider Gamma Communications  has acquired Surrey-based EnableX Group.

EnableX comprises three channel businesses, Pragma, Techland and Candio enabling resellers to access new opportunities and win within multiple technology areas, including in Cloud Communications, where it is one of the leading providers to the UK wholesale channel.

Will Morey, Chief Executive Officer of EnableX, said: “It is clear how the portfolio we have fits into Gamma’s strategy for growth and leadership in the UCaaS space. Bringing these businesses together will help us both bring additional value to the channel.’’

Daryl Pile, Managing Director at Gamma Business added: “This acquisition significantly expands our channel portfolio providing greater opportunities for our partners to accelerate their growth. We are proud to work alongside them and the partnership that they have forged with one of the leading business communications vendors, Ericsson-LG Enterprise.  The most striking element throughout the process has been the close cultural alignment of EnableX and Gamma, both built on openness, loyalty and trust – we can’t wait to get started.”

Patrick Johansson, Chief Executive Officer at Ericsson-LG Enterprise, added: “Our journey in the UK market with the iPECS Unified Communications portfolio which includes iPECS Cloud has been a tremendous success and we are looking forward to continuing that success in partnership with Gamma”.
