Following a period of rapid expansion and a series of high-level appointments, Thames Valley law firm Gardner Leader has recruited Lynn Digby as HR manager.

In just six years, staff numbers at Gardner Leader have doubled to nearly 120 including 14 partners, and turnover is on course to reach £7 million by the end of the year, which is double the 2011/12 figure.

Lynn Digby, who lives in Newbury, was previously HR manager at Charles Lucas & Marshall solicitors. She will take a lead role in Gardner Leader’s ambitious recruitment and induction programme, responsible for appointing specialist individuals who will continue to deliver on the firm’s award winning customer service.

She will be supporting all staff across the firm’s offices in Newbury, Thatcham and Maidenhead, advising on a range of HR matters including recruitment and induction, career development and holiday management.

“Gardner Leader has always had an excellent reputation for the way it cares for its clients and staff so I’m really pleased to be joining the firm,” said Digby. “I’m looking forward to supporting the teams’ employment and career needs, and excited about building on the firm’s strong culture of engagement and service by continuing to appoint great people who love what they do.”
