National Farmers’ Union reappoint Foot Anstey
Foot Anstey will continue to work closely with the National Farmers’ Union following their reappointment to the NFU’s legal panel of experts.
This will see Foot Anstey, who have offices in both Plymouth and Southampton, support more than 46,000 farming and growing businesses represented by the NFU.
The union aims to lead British farmers into a stable and sustainable future and champion British agriculture and horticulture.
Foot Anstey will provide advice on all areas of law relevant to farming and growing, such as succession planning, diversification, renewable energy, dispute resolution, planning, probate, family and conveyancing, to the NFU’s members in Devon and Cornwall.
Edward Venmore, Partner and Head of Farms, Estates and Rural Land, will lead the advice from the firm, which will be undertaken by experts from across Foot Anstey’s Private Wealth offering.

Edward Venmore commented: "We are thrilled to be reappointed to the NFU's legal panel. With experts in the farming sector across the firm we are well placed to provide pragmatic legal advice and have a deep understanding of what the NFU's members need to support them in their business and personal affairs.
"We recently launched a podcast series, 'Experts in the Field,' to support farmers and landowners with topical insights to help address the challenges they face and to make the most of opportunities available to them.
“We are looking forward to forging new relationships and strengthening our already strong relationship with the NFU and its members."
South West NFU Regional Director Melanie Squires said: "Our legal panel firms are an important part of the service we offer to our farmers. We work closely with them throughout the year and very much welcome Foot Anstey's re-appointment, and the continuation of our relationship for the benefit of members."
