Henley’s HMT advises Bay Tree Partners on Hawco investment

Henley-based financial advisors HMT LLP advised UK business investors Bay Tree Partners on their investment in specialist air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, vending, and industrial component suppliers Hawco Limited.

The HMT team, led by partner Paul Read, director Colin Briault-Hutter, and executive Francis Drysdale, undertook financial due diligence on the transaction.

The figures for the deal are are as of yet undisclosed.

This investment comes as Bay Tree looks to reach the next level of growth in both the UK and overseas markets. The acquisition also marks 50 years of trading for Hawco Limited.

Hawco provides over 26,000 components from 250 international suppliers covering refrigeration, air conditioning, process heating, and temperature control systems. Bay Tree will look to grow Hawco using the experience gained from their past investments and growth plans developed by the management teams at Hawco and its sister company Abbeychart.
