Moore Blatch solicitors in Hampshire has appointed prominent immigration solicitor Tamara Rundle to head up its immigration department.
Rundle has over 10 years' experience advising both companies and individuals on a wide variety of immigration matters. As well as her corporate work, she has a history of successfully representing members of the armed forces and LGBT clients on immigration issues. She has worked in the UK and overseas and speaks French and improving Italian.
Rundle complements her immigration expertise with a great deal of employment experience. This has given her a unique insight into the priorities and concerns of employers, businesses and prospective specialist employees in relation to immigration.
The Moore Blatch immigration department began operating in early 2014 and is the only immigration advice service recognised by the independent legal directory, The Legal 500, for the Hampshire area. The service seeks to assist companies sponsoring employees from overseas, applications from individuals wanting to live and invest in the UK and those making immigration applications, which will also includes post-graduate students keen to establish businesses in the UK.
While Tamara will be based in Moore Blatch’s Southampton office, she will be available to clients across all of the firm’s offices including the City, Richmond and Lymington, working with other departments in the firm to offer a multi-disciplinary service, as well as advising existing clients on immigration issues.
Moore Blatch partner Tim Spring commented: “I’m very pleased to welcome Tamara to the firm; the immigration department is proving an incredibly popular service, with more employers and individuals needing to access advice around immigration issues.”
Commenting on her new post, Tamara says: “Immigration continues to be an incredibly hot topic particularly for businesses that rely on overseas staff and investment. With the need for advice in this area predicted to increase, I am looking forward to developing the areas of work that Moore Blatch is currently undertaking.”
