Leading Dorset solicitors Steele Raymond has welcomed newly-qualified solicitor Alice Toop to its dispute resolution team. Toop has recently finished her training contract after completing seats within the firm’s contentious and non-contentious teams.

She now joins the top-tier dispute resolution team which specialises in dealing with complex disputes across a range of sectors including construction, education and manufacturing.

Toop said: “Training at Steele Raymond has been a great experience with everybody being so helpful and friendly. I am delighted to be staying with the firm and joining the dispute resolution team.”

She added: “Helping clients resolve challenging business or personal disputes is something that makes being a solicitor so rewarding. For clients dealing with a dispute is very stressful so it’s important to seek professional advice as early on as possible.”

Peter Rolph, managing partner and head of dispute resolution at Steele Raymond, said: “We are delighted that Alice has joined the team. Alice has worked enormously hard throughout her training contract and has been a real asset to our clients and the firm. Alice is another great example of the successful journey from university to solicitor and really does have a bright future with the firm. It shows what a fantastic trainee programme we have developed to attract such talent to join us.”
