Dorset law firm Steele Raymond has welcomed two new trainee solicitors and two placement students as it continues to invest in the development of future talent across its Bournemouth and Southbourne offices.

Trainees Roisin Fisher and Theo Tendler join The Legal 500 ranked ‘Top Tier’ firm to embark on their two-year training contract which consists of four six-month seats across a variety of legal areas.

Sussex University graduate Roisin Fisher embarks on her training contract following the completion of her LPC at Bournemouth University and a year working as a paralegal within the firm’s commercial property team.

Fisher will be gaining experience in granting and taking leases, buying and selling commercial properties, taking mortgages and charges over commercial properties and dealing with general leasehold management including sublets, licences to assign and lease extensions.

University of Law, Guildford graduate Theo Tendler joins the company and commercial team where he will be working on a number of issues including commercial contracts, terms and conditions and compliance.

Steele Raymond has also continued its commitment to providing practical work placement positions to support the close relationship it enjoys with Bournemouth University.

Bournemouth University students Claire Salter and Joe McMullen embark on their placement year by joining the commercial property and private client team respectively.

Commercial property partner and training principal responsible for training contracts at Steele Raymond Jennifer Rogerson said: “Trainee solicitors and placement students are an incredibly valuable asset to any firm and each year we are lucky enough to see an impressive calibre of law students wishing to work for and develop their careers at Steele Raymond. Trainee solicitors are key to the growth of the firm and I’m delighted that we are quite rightly investing more and more resources in providing a leading trainee solicitor programme.”
