Crawley's Volution Group seeks clearance for Proven Systems acquisition
Crawley-based sustainable indoor air company Volution Group has submitted a clearance application to the Commerce Commision for the acquisition of fellow indoor air company Proven Systems.
This application is for the acquisition of 100 per cent of Proven Systems' business and assets.
Volution Group is owner of Volution Ventilation New Zealand Limited. In New Zealand, Volution (through a wholly owned subsidiary Simx Limited) supplies home ventilation systems under the Smart Vent brand. It principally supplies these systems through wholesalers and building supplies merchants.

Proven Systems, a New Zealand company, supplies and installs home ventilation systems under the DVS brand. Proven Systems sells its DVS systems direct to consumers.
This move from Volution reflects the success reported in their HY2023 in which the company announced an 8.5 per cent increase in revenue and a 7.1 per cent increase in adjusted operating profit.
Commenting on the company's performance and what the company's growth means for the industry, CEO of Volutions Ronnie George said: ''We delivered a strong half performance across our three regions, driven in particular by strong UK residential RMI demand.
''The importance of indoor air quality to our health and the need for energy efficient, low carbon buildings, are moving even further up the agenda and increasingly supported by government policy and regulation. ''
