Camberley: The FSE Group appoints new board member
The FSE Group, a fund-management organisation delivering a range of debt and equity growth-finance solutions to innovative SMEs and social enterprises primarily in the South East, has announced the appointment of Rory Earley to its board.
Since obtaining an MBA in SME finance at Sheffield University, Earlet has spent over 20 years in SME finance in both the public and private sectors. He designed and implemented the Government’s first spending interventions in the venture capital markets; and he went on to create Capital for Enterprise, the manager of the Government’s loan-guarantee programmes and the biggest single investor in UK venture capital between 2008 and 2013. He also participated in the establishment of the British Business Bank, overseeing its investment activities.
Kevan Jones, CEO at The FSE Group, said: “This is a significant appointment for The FSE Group, which further strengthens the broad experience of the board.”
Earley commented: “I am looking forward to working with the team to secure the clear opportunities that exist in delivering funding to meet the ongoing needs of ambitious high-growth SMEs and social enterprises in the UK.”
