Blandy & Blandy advises The Cold Chain Federation on acquisition
The corporate and commercial team at Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy has advised The Cold Chain Federation on its acquisition of trade magazine publisher Commercial Transport Publishing.
The Cold Chain Federation, which represents more than 250 companies, is the trade association for businesses that operate temperature-controlled storage and distribution operations in the UK.
David Few (pictured), a partner in Blandy & Blandy’s Corporate and Commercial team, advised on the deal, supported by Emma Ford.
"We were expertly guided through this process by the Blandy & Blandy team. It was not something we have done before and so having David and his colleagues’ experience behind us was vital and reassuring at every stage," said Cold Chain Federation Chief Executive, Shane Brennan.
Few said: "It was a pleasure to assist the Federation with this acquisition, which I am sure will further help the Federation continue to provide invaluable support to the logistics sector particularly during these most difficult and challenging times."
With a team of more than 50 specialist solicitors, Blandy & Blandy provides legal services to individuals, families and businesses and organisations including UK subsidiaries, SMEs and owner-managed businesses, charities, universities and schools, landowners and developers and venue and event operators.
