A family-owned property development business has started work on the next phase of its latest residential building project in rural Worcestershire, after securing funding support from Lloyds Bank.

Housebuilder Heritage House Developments Limited, based in Worcestershire, which specialises in the design and build of luxury, bespoke residential properties, has more than 35 years of construction and property expertise. The firm typically combines traditional building design with modern elements in its exclusive homes, and can carry out all types of renovation, conversion, and new build schemes.

The firm’s latest development of four luxury homes at Cropthorne in Worcestershire, is now well underway. The project, which was supported by a £1million development loan from Lloyds Bank, is due for completion before the end of 2022. The build of the first property has already completed.

The four-bedroom and four-bathroom homes, which are located at the top of a private driveway, are each set in approximately half an acre of land and are accessed by electric gates. The site is conveniently located close to Evesham train station, with excellent commuter links with regular direct trains to London Paddington.

Following widespread disruption to the construction industry by the coronavirus pandemic, which saw Heritage House Developments impacted by interruptions in supply of building materials, the firm is now seeing strong demand for luxury new-build homes in Worcestershire. The Cropthorne development has already received substantial enquiries since the completion of the first property, with numerous requests to view the second property on the site before its completion.

Heritage House Developments was founded by builder David Smallcombe, together with his business partner Charles Hudson. The firm, which has been a customer of Lloyds Bank for more than a decade, typically builds around two luxury homes each year, that are each valued at more than £1 million.

Adrian Burden, Relationship Manager for Lloyds Bank said: “The UK residential property market is enjoying a particularly buoyant period, with demand for homes with good sized gardens in rural areas on the increase as people seek out more space and isolation. Heritage Homes Developments is well placed to capitalise on this demand, as a builder of high-quality, luxurious homes in enviable countryside locations."
