Tony Price has been appointed UK sales director at IT value added distributor Wick Hill, which was recently voted Woking's most successful company.

With the IT security market in a period of exceptional change and experiencing a shift of focus from breach prevention to breach management, Price’s job will be to lead Wick Hill’s education, training and sales expansion drive in the UK and Ireland

Price is an experienced channel professional, who has held both sales and senior channel management roles, including managing director, with companies such as WStore and Chiltern IT. He has a long history of increasing sales, and developing staff, while successfully defining structures and resources for the most profitable outcome.

Ian Kilpatrick, chairman Wick Hill Group, said: “I am delighted that Tony has joined us as an important asset in our strong expansion plans. Tony will be heading up our team in the UK and Ireland, where we have very positive expectations of him.”

Price said: “I have known Wick Hill for many years, having been a customer whilst at WStore. This role is a fantastic opportunity to help evolve and drive growth for an already well-regarded and established channel player."

As well as its offices in Woking, Wick Hill has sister offices in Hamburg, and is part of Rigby Private Equity.
