The most authoritative analysis of the UK’s PR industry has ranked Winchester-based Remarkable Group in the top 10 communications agencies headquartered outside London.

The PR Week Top 150 saw the award-winning Hampshire company stake a claim to be a regional leader as it also rose for the third consecutive year in the overall listing to reach No.69 – cementing its position in the top half of the national table.

Coming 10th outside London and 69th overall is the company’s best result. It rewards recent expansion to meet demand for its services around the UK: growing from Winchester to open offices in Manchester and London, as well as a planned new base in Bristol.

The results announced also listed Remarkable Group as 33rd in the Top 40 table of independent agencies, further recognising the flourishing company as a lead challenger in the industry.

Remarkable Group chief executive Stephen Pomeroy said: “Our year-on-year rise up the PRWeek Top 150 is testament to our embracing of the evolution of modern media, but with a solid foundation of communications skills and knowledge.

“Clients are delighted with what we do – that’s what we always aim for. With a focus on content, professionalism and imagination, Remarkable Group is emerging as one of the new breed of communications agencies.”

The company’s client list includes the United Nations, Taylor Wimpey, Aldi, Linden Homes, Ordnance Survey, Cash Converters, New Holland and McCarthy & Stone.
