Award-winning marketing and communications agency Remarkable Group has moved into the upper half of the prestigious PR Week Top 150 after climbing for the third year in a row.

The Group, which has its HQ in Winchester, stepped up to number 75 in the influential 2013 rankings.

Ranked number 11 in the agencies outside of London, and number 38 on the list of independently-owned agencies, the latest result is recognition of Remarkable Group’s continued growth.

Chief executive Stephen Pomeroy said: “Last year was a challenging one for the industry so we’re very proud to have grown the business while at the same time achieving top results for our clients.

“We are determined to put in place the right structures and recruit the best people so we can continue to build on our success, attract more and bigger clients, and live up to our Remarkable name.”

Another major development in May was the company's opening a new Covent Garden office, giving it a strategic foothold in the heart of the capital for further expansion.

Growth has also included increasing Remarkable Group’s workforce by a third since 2010 to reach 61 people. Turnover has swelled by a quarter in the past three years, with a client list containing some 80 regional, national and international companies.

Remarkable Group’s digital division, NÜKO, has also enjoyed rapid success since its launch in August last year, winning a number of industry awards in the past nine months.

NÜKO has also won a string of important clients, including music impresario Simon Cowell’s Syco by beating other agencies to design the branding for his international YouTube talent contest, The You Generation.

Remarkable Group was founded in Southampton in 2004 before expanding to Winchester. In 2012 it was ranked 78th in the PRWeek Top 150 PR agencies league table and won Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy in the 2012 CIPR Wessex and Channel Islands PRide Awards.
