Westcoast has been appointed as UK distribution partner for Dell Technologies  in a move that will boost its hybrid working proposition.

The Reading-based company say the collaboration will bring "significant opportunities" to resellers with Dell Technologies end-to-end IT solutions allowing users to work from anywhere securely in a work landscape that is becoming increasingly split between home and office spaces.

Westcoast will offer the Dell Technologies Client Solutions product portfolio including notebooks, workstations, desktops, monitors, and accessories.

The Reading firm, which is the largest privately-owned company in the Thames Valley, will also distribute Dell Technologies IT Infrastructure Solutions portfolio including storage, server, data protection and HCI.

Westcoast’s client director, Paul Hamilton, said: “Adding the Dell Technologies offering of devices and services to our portfolio will give resellers and their customers more flexibility, mobility, and opportunity in the new hybrid environment we’re living in."

Westcoast say the agreement means they can help resellers offer the Dell Technologies ecosystem to their customers and provide support through the whole sales cycle including pre-sales and licensing support and bespoke quote management tools, as well as financial solutions and expert guidance.

The Thames Valley firm also offer similar partnerships with Microsoft, Google, and Intel.
