With the unfolding humanitarian disaster in Ukraine what can business leaders in South East do to help?

A Southampton charity event organised by The Business Magazine, ‘Business United,’ will examine the best way to contribute to and mitigate effects of the war in Europe.

The informal event will be held on March 17 at 6pm in Southampton's Grand Cafe with all proceeds from the event going to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and will feature talks from business leaders and policymakers.

The networking event has been organised in support of DEC's Relief Fund who are coordinating a response to Europe’s largest humanitarian crisis in a generation. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to DEC.

The fundraiser will offer the business community an opportunity both to raise much needed money for this effort and also address the changes caused by the conflict.

The Business Magazine brings the community together in order to show their support and raise money towards relief efforts.

Richard Thompson MD of The Business Magazine said: “No one remains unmoved by the worrying pictures and suffering faced by Ukraine, in a bid to help, this event will offer local business leaders an opportunity to co-ordinate any and all efforts at helping. It will also offer an opportunity for frank discussions on what the evolving picture means for the business community.”

Business United in aid of Disaster Emergency Relief Fund efforts in Ukraine, will be held in Southampton's Grand Cafe on March 17th from 6pm. Places are limited so register now at Register your place at the event >>
