Following the acquisition in May of the Land Rover site in Oxford, The Ridgeway Group has now successfully acquired the former Guy Salmon Jaguar site in Cumnor. The acquisition is expected to increase the annual turnover of the ‘Dealer Group of the Year’ to £550 million.
The Ridgeway Group, which is now ranked as the ‘Top largest motor retail group in the UK’, operates across the middle and south of England. It is enhancing its empire further with a comprehensive coverage of new and used car dealerships for Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and more.
The deal which was led by Pitmans automotive corporate partner, Stephanie Perry, and assisted by commercial property partner, Delphine Mehouas, came into effect on June 29.
CEO John O’Hanlon commented on the Jaguar acquisition: “We are very excited and proud to represent the Jaguar branding across Oxfordshire – a territory we all know well.”
Perry commented: “We’ve enjoyed advising John, David and the Ridgeway Group on its constant flow of acquisitions over the years as this leading and dynamic automotive business continues to push the boundaries and further increase its portfolio of dealerships”.
