Leading Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy has announced that Manisha Bhula, head of the firm’s award-winning residential property team, is to become a partner from July 1, 2021.

Bhula joined Blandy & Blandy as an associate solicitor in 2015 and has lead the team, which spans the firm’s Reading and Henley-on-Thames offices, through a successful period of growth and an exceptionally busy past 12 months. This is owed in part to the stamp duty ‘holiday’ that now runs until June 30, 2021.

Bhula has nearly 25 years’ experience in all aspects of residential property and conveyancing and acts for clients including individuals, landlords and investors, developers, housing associations and financial institutions.

Blandy & Blandy is accredited by the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). The firm’s residential property team received an award for conveyancing excellence at the 2017 ESTAS Awards in London and continues to attract excellent feedback from clients and estate agents alike.

Having recently been advised by Bhula, one client commented: “When the estate agent asked which solicitor we were using and we said Blandy & Blandy, they smiled and said ‘Good decision... they are the best in the area.’ And they were.”

Other clients have credited Bhula for providing legal advice and a service that is 'high quality', 'responsive and professional', 'supportive', 'exemplary' and 'head and shoulders above the other firm's involved.'

Chairman Nick Burrows said: “Manisha and our dedicated residential property team have worked tirelessly throughout an extremely busy and challenging year, delivering time and time again without compromising on the standard of legal advice and client care on which the team’s and indeed our firm’s reputations are based. Thank you to them and congratulations to Manisha.”

Bhula added: “I am very pleased to be welcomed into the partnership and I look forward to continuing to grow our team and to supporting clients in Reading and Henley-on-Thames. Like Nick, I would like to thank our incredibly hardworking team for their continued commitment and professionalism.”
