On Tuesday March 10 Chantrey Vellacott will reveal the findings of its business barometer report.
The Thames Valley accountancy firm surveyed owner-managed businesses (OMBs) across the country at the end of 2014 and will present the key findings at the event, which is being hosted at the company’s Thames Valley offices on Queens Road in Reading.
Mark Berrisford-Smith, head of economics (UK commercial banking) at HSBC, will also be presenting on the economic outlook for OMBs in the year ahead.
Miles Hewitt-Boorman, partner at Chantrey Vellacott in Thames Valley, said: “More than 250 businesses contributed to the report, which highlights the challenges and risks facing OMBs this year as well as their strategies for growth, expansion and succession.
“Interestingly, the survey found that as many as 68% of OMBs expect 2015 to be a better year than 2014, including 21% who expect it to be much better.
“We’re looking forward to presenting an overview of our findings and are delighted Mark Berrisford-Smith will be joining us to give his take on the economic outlook for the year ahead.”
The event begins at 5.30pm, ahead of a welcome and introduction at 6pm, to be followed by networking and canapés.
