Worcester's SWP successfully acquired by MPA Financial Management

Worcester-based financial advisers Suckling Waddington and Partners has been acquired by Solihull-based MPA Financial Management. The purchase completes a succession plan that began in 2018 and enables SWP’s longstanding Partner Gary Cowley to start his retirement.

Gary will remain in the business for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition and no disruption to the level of service clients receive.

With Gary’s retirement process underway, MPA has now purchased his 50 per cent share of SWP to successfully acquire the business.

This has been part of SWP’s succession strategy since the company became part of MPA in 2018, following the retirement of Partner Alan Poole and MPA’s purchase of Alan’s 50 per cent share in the business.

Since 2018, SWP have been an Appointed Representative of MPA, with both companies sharing the same core values centred on trust and delivering the best possible advice to our clients.
