Luxury yacht maker Sunseeker has carried out the first sea trials of its new 90 Ocean Yacht in the English Channel near its Poole headquarters. The company also announced a new distribution structure in Asia.

The 90 Ocean Yacht showcases the fresh design direction of Sunseeker’s next generation of larger models and underlines the brand’s commitment to bringing even more exciting new products to market. Exemplifying the feel of a true superyacht, the 90 Ocean Yacht stand-out features will be its striking lines, incredible volume, a sophisticated open-plan interior and a new ‘Ocean Club’ concept – offering four times the area of a traditional bathing platform design.

The company said that every element has been carefully considered in meticulous detail, exuding a sophistication and detail hitherto only found in custom superyachts.

Global expansion

Meanwhile, Sunseeker International has continued the expansion and development of its world-class dealer network with a new distribution structure for Asia. The company has distributor representatives in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines and South Korea. It said that all are well-established with excellent reputations, dedicated to first-class customer sales and servicing support in their respective market.

This strategic change brings Sunseeker closer to the market and provides the ultimate support for clients as the brand continues to grow, launching a plethora of innovative new models; part of a range set to double by 2023.

Sean Robertson, sales director at Sunseeker International, said: “The Asia market is exceedingly important to us and this new strategy will allow us to assist each distributor to develop their market whilst prioritising customer service. This fresh approach provides us the platform to seek the very best distributors across the region which we are constantly developing.

“This change comes at a very exciting time in the expansion of our product range, with five new models launching this spring. These include the new Manhattan 55, 88 Yacht and 90 Ocean which are ideally suited to this market with brand new contemporary interiors and layouts to match the dynamic styling of the exteriors.”

He added: “In addition to bringing the very best yachts to market, our clients can be assured they will be cared for given our renowned first-class service. We are committed to ensuring our global distributor network is supported in achieving this.”
