The corporate team at leading regional law firm Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons has advised the shareholders of Adviance Technical Solutions on its sale to ISS UK.
Adviance provides mechanical and electrical maintenance services to both commercial and industrial customers. It has revenues in excess of £18m per annum and a portfolio of blue chip corporate clients.
The Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons team comprised corporate partner Stephen Archibald (Southampton) and corporate assistant Zahid Kamal (Southampton), who worked with tax partner Simon Court (Oxford) and other specialists in the firm. Pinsent Masons advised ISS UK, one of the world’s largest facility service providers. Grant Thornton (Southampton) also advised the sellers on structuring and tax issues.
John Warburton, managing director of Adviance, commented: "We were delighted to achieve both our original aims for investors, and to join an organisation whose strategic aim and culture was an obvious fit with that of the team at Adviance. Both Stephen and Zahid gave excellent advice and worked closely with management to achieve a smooth transaction."
