South coast-based Tenon Recovery has announced the sale of the business and assets of The Burlington Press, based near Cambridge, to Brimflex, which is part of the Blueprint group operated by Jim Gilmour.
The sale ensures the rescue of the business and ongoing employment for the remaining 22 staff and the management team of Andrew Tooke, Richard Tooke and Jack Lindop.
Sandy Kinninmonth, joint administrator, commented: "After a period of trading and discussions with interested parties we are delighted to have reached an agreement with Jim Gilmour which will ensure the business, which has been in existence for over 100 years, is continued. We wish Jim and the staff and management all the best for the future.”
