South: Italian food specialist Alivini backed by Arbuthnot Commercial

When specialist food importer and wholesaler Alivini Company made the move to join Arbuthnot Commercial ABL as a client, it was a natural choice. Both lender and client management teams have worked together closely for a number of years and following the formation of Arbuthnot Commercial ABL, Alivini was attracted to the high levels of service and support that the team could provide.

Having met with Alivini’s management team to discuss their requirements in depth, Arbuthnot Commercial ABL structured and delivered a £1.5 million working capital facility, providing the company with additional headroom to expand.

Alivini was founded in 1975 with the aim of supplying the best quality wines and food from all regions of Italy. Today, the company is regarded as the leading Italian produce specialist in the UK, importing and distributing some of Italy’s foremost premium brands.
