Goringe Accountants, the award-winning audit and accountancy firm for growing businesses with offices in Reading and London, is hosting an autumn Budget breakfast seminar at the West Reading Holiday Inn on Wednesday October 31.
The seminar is free for businesses to attend. It will guide company owners and leaders through the impact of the Budget on them and their business, and unravel the complexities of managing tax and finance in a post-Brexit world.
Nicky Goringe Larkin, managing director of Goringe Accountants, said: “With UK businesses facing so much uncertainty, this year’s Autumn Budget will be extremely important as it’s the last one before our scheduled exit from the EU next March. As the budget is slightly earlier than normal - on October 29 - it should provide a much clearer indication of changes to tax laws including income tax, pensions and corporation tax, between now and post-Brexit. We’ll review and discuss the key changes announced by the Chancellor and what they mean for UK business, pre and post Brexit.”
Nicky Goringe Larkin and Chris Lee, head of tax, will be covering the following topics for discussion, alongside an overview of the Autumn Budget Statement.
The breakfast seminar starts at 8am for an 8.30am start, serving breakfast pastries, and tea and coffee. It will take place in the Brightwell Suite at the West Reading Holiday Inn, Padworth Lane, Bath Road, Reading RG7 5HT.
Places are limited so those wishing to attend are advised to book early by emailing their name, company and contact details to info@goringeaccountants.co.uk by October 26.
