South East: Pitmans appoints new private client partner

Law firm Pitmans LLP, whose offices include Reading and Southampton, has appointed Andrew Murray as a private client partner based in its office in the Royal Exchange, London. 

 

Murray has over 30 years’ experience acting for individuals in relation to wills, the administration of estates and lifetime tax planning. He has particular expertise in dealing with probate and tax planning issues for family offices, and in powers of attorney.

He was formerly the head of trusts, tax and estates at Bishop and Sewell LLP, and he also founded the investment services department at Lawrence Graham.

John Hutchinson, Pitmans managing partner, said: “This senior hire will strengthen our exceptionally talented private client team operating from London, Reading, our regional headquarters, and Southampton. We are looking forward to announcing more hires as we continue to recruit to support our growth programme to meet client demand from high net worth individuals and corporate executives alike.”
